A view of the lake
Surrounded by frosted grass
The singular willow
On the waters edge
One is moved, taken off, as if to the ballet
To those elegant and slim dancers
Investing in us with their passionate movement
Pronouncements of beyond humanity gestures
The bare carcasses of old trees
Reminders of the effects of age
Demonstrative of the scarecrows we become
Earlier
There was a pink sheen
The effect of the sun slowly taking it's place
In the morning’s, south-westerly, silver-grey sky
