rejoiced
taking photographs

mother and child
as sure as he was
to turn for home
we turned
away from expectation
for one afternoon
that anxiety
and burden
should and could be relieved
from the calamities
which love engages
once again invaded
pressed into action
when the preference
is for isolation
the path is unclear
yet the subconscious
is asking questions
about the underlying truth
the road is long
also it is winding
the thoughts are strong
our love it is binding
no-thing to go wrong
with tolerance we are finding
to be is where we do belong
our selves so so simply reminding
my mantra
is your name
that’s right
my mantra is your full name
in meditation
i chant your name
in presence
i resolve your name
it is as if
your name holds
the beauty of love
to be shared forever
now that we have revealed
in plain sight so to speak
that we are two
who might we be
in the present moment
maybe niet
we could share
the presence of darkness
yes one day
we could dwell together
in the spacious consciousness
of sublime love
