As absent as the breath you draw

The anti-gravitational mist rises
Prizes itself from the fields of frozen snow
I didn't mean for you to break my heart
I didn't dream of the reasons to make it so

I didn't ever mean to lose you
I never wanted you to go

The day is as still as your absence
As absent as the breath you draw
I didn't ever mean to lose you
In my schemes I never meant for you to go

I didn't ever mean to lose you
I never wanted you to go

The canal surface settles the reflections
Fringed by the winter white hedgerow
I didn't mean for you to break my heart
I didn't dream of the reasons to make it so

I didn't ever mean to lose you
I never wanted you to go

The day is as still as your absence
As absent as the breath you draw
I didn't ever mean to lose you
In my schemes I never meant for you to go

I didn't ever mean to lose you
I never wanted you to go

The snowflakes that float on the breeze
Crystallised water as the thoughts that flow
I didn't mean for you to break my heart
I didn't dream of the reasons to make it so

I didn't ever mean to lose you
I never wanted you to go

The day is as still as your absence
As absent as the breath you draw
I didn't ever mean to lose you
In my schemes I never meant for you to go

I didn't ever mean to lose you
I never wanted you to go

In my schemes I never meant for you to go
In my dreams I never meant for you to go
In my schemes I never wanted you to go
In my dreams I never wanted you to go

I didn't ever mean to lose you
I never wanted you to go
I didn't ever mean to lose you
I never wanted you to go

Basking in our soft soled, sequin shoes

Between the waking and the dreaming
There are things I mean to do
Between the doubtful thoughts of meaning
There is the love that I save for you

I am after finding a quieter life
I am after searching it out with you
I'm all for flying paper kites
Skipping out under silvered skies of blue
I'm all for painting picture frames
Stripping them back, to timeless delicate hues

Between the waking and the dreaming
There are things I mean to do
Between the doubtful thoughts of meaning
There is the love that I save for you

I am after reminders of simpler times
I am after minding them with you
I'm all for walks on submissive sands
Basking in our soft-soled, sequin shoes
I'm all for playing lovers games
Asking out for sensitive sensual truth

Between the waking and the dreaming
There are things I mean to do
Between the doubtful thoughts of meaning
There is the love that I save for you

Between the doubtful thoughts of meaning
There is the love that I save for you
Between the waking and the dreaming
There is the love that I save for you

Between the doubtful thoughts of meaning
Between the waking and the dreaming
There is the love that I save for you
There is the love that I save for you

There is the love that I save for you
There is the love that I save for you
Between the waking and the dreaming
Between the picture frames and the sequins
There is the love that I save for you
There is the love that I save for you

There is the love that I save for you
There is the love that I save for you
There is the love that I save for you
There is the love that I save for you

Presently

I see the roadside rows
Of  leaning leafless trees
They are in relief, against a plain grey sky
In this moment I am mindful

I see the distant sodium lights
Set out along the coastline
They are shining, beneath a plain grey sky
In this moment I am mindful

I hear music on the car stereo
Jim Morrison in full flow
His mojo is working, on his LA Woman
In those few moments I was mindful

Natures Gifted & Wondrous Feelings

White silver sun
In a fog grey sky
Such excitable urges

Frosted tree and hedgerow
Mist over the frozen fields
Such intimate desires

Snow drifts up the hillside
Ice forms on the river bank
Such passions are aroused

Vapour of woman’s breath
Echoes of winter’s scents
Such a magnificent climax

Soft, rich crimson, energising sunrise
Silhouette’s the young man’s home
Such as to raise his new-day smile

Vibrations From Beneath The Skin

If you should search
For something almost lost forever
& most unexpectedly
Even one might say at an inconvenient moment
That thing should reappear

Imagine then the inappropriate occurrence
Whilst caressing or massaging her shoulder
Stroking her thigh; foreplay as a woman does
To achieve that remembered sensual effect
Deep into her erogenous zone
