She Wrote A Poem

Late of sulphurous dust
Ache to see her yawning
In her state the wait is on
She hears the borealis fawning

It’s light, it’s dark
It’s light again
It’s skies with silver linings
She wears phosphorescent finings

Late of cumulus musk
Faked to catch her calling
In her freight the date is on
She sees the courtiers a strolling

It’s time, it’s place
It’s time again
Its flights with hidden findings
Her sights light on viva volcanic bindings

Truths

If you read
Enough love poetry
You will become a love poet

If you take your time
With truth and beauty
You will become beautifully true

If you make a point of seeing
The sunlight rise through the mist
The suns light will shine upon you

If you take your time with time
Then time will open her tome of time
To be there and waiting for you

Narrowed

In the scenes of all the stories that I told you
A little of me, a little of you, a little of life
Margins of the hopes
That I hold onto, thanks to you
Within the dreams, the ways and means
The schizoid schemes that I sold to you
A shade of me, a shade of you, a shade of life
Sunlight on the slopes
Where I hope still to be for you

Plantation

It is that time
Whenever I see the lavender
You, doubtless have similar irregular tensions

An image, an aroma
Even old fashioned
Imagination herself out there a wandering

Would the slide rule
Help with sensations
Is any form of calculation going to bring order

These are not ghosts
Rather silk sheeted exposures
That lead us toward our past pretensions

Together they take
& hold the breath
From futures both past & present

We are not reluctant
Indeed in times ahead
We may again survive to seek out the lavender

Bench

Ache passes
With the passage of time
Time passes, yet
Ache simmers for all classes

Lame ducks
& sulphurous gasses
Lime faced structures
Those gamely lasses

The fairway was rough
Momentary flashes
Our timely hush
The ache filled ashes
